Overview

Offering practical ways you can use medicinal plants at home and within your communities.

This interactive class explores a selection of commonly used medicinal plants—including Echinacea, Oregon grape root, Japanese knotweed, Valerian, and others—and how they can be used safely and effectively in everyday life. The instructor will share practical, accessible ways to work with these herbs at home and within your community, drawing from historical knowledge and clinical experience.

The class will be a balance of discussion and Q&A for participants to ask questions and deepen their understanding of herbal medicine. The instructor will also showcase a variety of herbal medicines available in GreenStar’s wellness area, giving participants the opportunity to see and learn about these remedies up close.

Whether you’re new to herbal medicine or looking to expand your practical skills, this class is designed to empower you with tools and confidence to work with medicinal plants in meaningful, everyday ways.
