A Never Silent Voice

Based in Pawtucket, RI in the historic complex at the Lorraine Mills, Mixed Magic Theatre is a 501 (c ) (3) arts organization founded in 2000 by Ricardo and Bernadet Pitts-Wiley. The Company has strived to bring diverse stories and images to the stage through prose and song, tackling well-known dramatics as well as original theatrical productions.Under the leadership of Artistic Director Jonathan Pitts-Wiley, Mixed Magic Theatre continues to pursue excellence and remains committed to  its mission:​Building more literate and arts-active communities.

Mixed Magic Theatre honors gospel legend and activist Annye Raye Pitts with music, words, and images celebrating her legacy.

Mixed Magic Theatre presents a Black History Month tribute to this gospel extraordinaire, remarkable cultural educator, and relentless community activist through the inspirational music, words, and images that celebrate the life and legacy of Annye Raye Pitts, who was born in Montgomery, Alabama.The performance will be followed at 4:00 PM by a free vendor marketplace and gallery exhibit. The final performance of Letter From Birmingham City Jail will take place at 5:00 PM, with tickets available on Eventbrite.About Mixed Magic Theatre Founded in 2000 by Ricardo and Bernadet Pitts-Wiley, Mixed Magic Theatre is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to building more literate and arts-active communities through theater, music, and cultural programming.
