Based in Pawtucket, RI in the historic complex at the Lorraine Mills, Mixed Magic Theatre is a 501 (c ) (3) arts organization founded in 2000 by Ricardo and Bernadet Pitts-Wiley. Mixed Magic Theatre Presents a Dramatic Reading of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s "Letter From Birmingham City Jail"Mixed Magic Theatre invites the community to a powerful and timely dramatic reading of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s "Letter From Birmingham City Jail", presented in commemoration of Martin Luther King Day.This moving performance will be delivered by Crow Pitts-Wiley and Jonathan Pitts-Wiley, Artistic Director of Mixed Magic Theatre. Written in 1963, Dr. King’s letter remains one of the most important and enduring documents of the Civil Rights Movement—a profound call for justice, nonviolent resistance, and moral courage in the face of injustice.
