UNRally 2026 - Summer Solstice
The experiment in intentional disorganization continues. Get ready for the fun, shared community, and ride the amazing Oregon desert!
"A continuing experiment in intentional disorganization..."
This is an opportunity to unwind and explore the beautiful Desert in SE Oregon, and all the mountains, dunes, desert, and hot springs that surround it. Please join the awesome group of people that make up the UNRally! The community will inspire, the fire will be warm, and epic riding is in full supply. As the name UN-Rally suggests, this is NOT AN ADV RALLY in any sense. There are no group rides or tire-changing seminars, and absolutely NO VENDING, raffles, or brand promotion of any kind. It's a stunning location to gather, where we can appreciate the freedom of a dramatic, expansive desert landscape and all the activities that invites. The Alvord is not the easiest place to get to, which is kind of the point. Bring on the sun, dust, wind, weather, stars, fire, and hot springs. Bring stories, bring energy, and please bring all your motorized and non-motorized toys, from sail cars and land boards, to onewheels, bicycles, mutant vehicles, gokarts, buggies, minibikes, jeeps, flame-throwers, drones, and of course all the motorbikes you can ride, push, tow, beg, steal, or borrow. We encourage you to share these toys with as many of your fellow participants as possible. Because, why not?
The UNRally Principals:
1) Spell 'Principle' Right - We have shared principles because we don't like rules.
2) Active Participation - We each come prepared to contribute to this gathering in our own individual way. That could mean gifting, creating an experience, serving up some midnight tacos or popcorn, an open platform for your creative ideas.
3) Leave No Trace - The Alvord is a pristine and beautiful wilderness. We leave it cleaner than we found it every year we come back.
4) Self-Reliance - We may take risks, but don't rely on others to bail us out if things go sideways. Help is a long ways off.
5) Everyone's Invited - Yes, you.
6) No Commerce: Let's have a few days where we're not trying to sell each other stuff or promote our brands. The UNRally itself is non-profit, all proceeds along with many individual contributions is what makes the UNRally happen.
To ensure we stay within the attendance limits of our BLM permit, this year we are instituting wrist bands for all ticket holders. Attendance and participation will be limited to those with tickets and wristbands
Children 12 and under are free but still need tickets, teens from 13 to 17 (inclusive) are heavily discounted.
Exact GPS coordinates will be emailed to participants 24-48 hrs in advance. Stay tuned. If you don't have a GPS: when the road dead-ends at the edge of the desert, keep driving. Look for a cluster of vehicles somewhere on the distant horizon. You'll find us.
More detailed information will follow for those who register.
