Returning to the Sanctuary Studio after a standout debut, Los Angeles–based saxophonist Joshua Christian Childress brings his signature blend of fire, finesse, and expressive depth back to the stage.
A decorated soloist and arranger with a rapidly expanding presence on the national scene, Joshua has performed with artists such as Kelly Rowland, Kamasi Washington, Aloe Blacc, and FINNEAS, and collaborated with ensembles ranging from Imagine Dragons to the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles.
Holding degrees from Biola University and California State University Long Beach, and currently pursuing his doctorate at USC Thornton School of Music, Joshua continues to evolve as a performer, educator, and producer. His music bridges tradition and innovation with clarity, soul, and unmistakable voice—making this return concert a powerful continuation of an already memorable relationship with the Sanctuary stage.
