2026 Concert Series

Join us for SIX exciting musical journeys at several locations in North Tahoe.

April 20: The Grammy Award Winning ATTACCA Quartet - violins, viola, cello.

St. Francis of Assisi, Incline Village, 4-6PM.

Described by The Nation as an ensemble that “lives in the present aesthetically, without rejecting the virtues of the musical past,” the Attacca Quartet is renowned for its extraordinary versatility. With equal fluency in the masterworks of the 18th and 19th centuries and the boldest voices of today, Attacca has emerged as a defining quartet for modern audiences—bridging tradition and innovation with clarity, energy, and emotional depth.

May 3: California Guitar Trio - guitars, chapman stick.

Olympic Valley Event Center, Olympic Valley, 4-6PM.

Co-sponsored by the North Tahoe Community Alliance, TBID Dollars at Work and Truckee Core Values Fund.

Since forming in 1991, the California Guitar Trio has forged a musical path that defies boundaries. Their sound seamlessly crisscrosses rock, jazz, classical, and world music, infused with unexpected detours into surf rock and spaghetti Western themes. The result is a thrilling, highly original concert experience that is as intellectually rich as it is viscerally exciting.

May 30: Awadagin Pratt - piano.

Olympic Valley Chapel, Olympic Valley, 4-6PM.

Co-sponsored by the North Tahoe Community Alliance, TBID Dollars at Work.

Through a career that encompasses performance, conducting, education, and artistic leadership, Awadagin Pratt has become a powerful advocate for musical storytelling—shining light on voices of the past while championing today’s most imaginative creators. Since winning the Naumburg International Piano Competition in 1992 and receiving a 1994 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Pratt has earned widespread acclaim for performances described by The Washington Post as “forceful, imaginative, and precisely tinted,” and hailed by WGBH as among the great American pianists and conductors of our era.

July 2: The Dolphins Quartet - violins, viola, cello.

North Tahoe Hebrew Community Center, Tahoe Vista, 4-6PM.

North Tahoe Hebrew Congregation Community Center, Tahoe Vista.

Formed at The Juilliard School and based in New York City, the Dolphins Quartet is driven by a shared mission: to unite spirits through musical interpretation, innovation, and improvisation. Their performances blend beloved works from the classical canon with underappreciated gems and original compositions, creating programs that feel both timeless and urgently contemporary. With an approach that is deeply personal and joyfully exploratory, the Dolphins strive to make chamber music vibrant, relevant, and inclusive.

August 15: The George Cotsirilos Quartet - guitar, piano, bass, percussion.

Granlibakken Resort, Tahoe City, 7-9PM.

Co-sponsored by the North Tahoe Community Alliance, TBID Dollars at Work.

The quartet’s sound is defined by intelligent interplay and a rare balance between structure and spontaneity. Guitar and piano often function as equal partners, trading ideas and supporting each other in imaginative ways, while Fisher’s bass lines provide both melodic counterpoint and rock-solid rhythmic grounding. Tanna’s drumming adds propulsion and subtlety, shaping the music’s dynamic arc. Cotsirilos’ compositions are deceptively complex—marked by unexpected intervals, rich harmonic movement, and rhythmic tension—yet remain tuneful, memorable, and deeply engaging.

September 11: Trio Bohemo - violin, cello, piano.

Olympic Valley Chapel, Olympic Valley, 4-6PM.

Co-sponsored by the North Tahoe Community Alliance, TBID Dollars at Work.

Trio Bohémo has swiftly emerged as a powerful new voice on the international classical music scene. In just five years, the ensemble has amassed an extraordinary list of accolades, including First Prize and the Audience Prize at the International Joseph Haydn Competition in Vienna, top honors at the International Parkhouse Award in London, and the International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria. Additional prizes from major competitions in Australia and Germany, along with being named Ensemble of the Year 2021 by Italy’s Le Dimore del Quartetto and receiving a prestigious award from the Czech Chamber Music Society, underscore the trio’s meteoric rise.
