Will there be restrooms along the route?

There won't be restrooms along the route but there is a restroom at the start of the bike ride.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, this bike ride is only available to those 18 years and older.

Do I have to know how to ride a bike?

Yes, for this bike ride you must be able to ride a bike. However, be on the lookout for future "How to Ride a Bike" classes.

Can I bring my own bike?

No, this guided bike ride is in partnership with b-cycle and we will all be using the b-cycle bikes that are stationed along the trail.

Do I need to bring a helmet?

If you would like to bring your own helmet you can. If you do not want to bring your own, helmets will be provided at the beginning of the bike ride.

Join us for a bike ride on the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River!

Join San Antonio River Authority staff for an hour long bike ride program along the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River. Each weekly ride will focus on a different theme such as ethnobotany, the Mission Reach, wildflowers, pollinators and more. Participants will enjoy a scenic ride on electric B-Cycle bicycles while learning about the natural world and cultural history of the area. Please note that you must know how to ride a bike and be 18 years or older to participate. It's a perfect blend of exercise and exploration making each ride a unique and enriching experience.
