Will there be restrooms along the route?

There won't be restrooms along the route but there is a restroom at the start of the bike ride.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, this bike ride is only available to those 18 years and older.

Do I have to know how to ride a bike?

Yes, for this bike ride you must be able to ride a bike. However, be on the lookout for future "How to Ride a Bike" classes.

Can I bring my own bike?

No, this guided bike ride is in partnership with b-cycle and we will all be using the b-cycle bikes that are stationed along the trail.

Do I need to bring a helmet?

If you would like to bring your own helmet you can. If you do not want to bring your own, helmets will be provided at the beginning of the bike ride.

Join us for a bike ride on the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River!

Join San Antonio River Authority for this SPECIAL EDITION bike ride along the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River. We will be joined by two field staff members who work on the Mission Reach daily! They are integral members of the Mission Reach Ecology Team and take on the large scale stem density work that happens along the mission reach every year.

Participants will enjoy a scenic ride on electric B-Cycle bicycles. This ride is in partnership with B-Cycle and we do not currently allow people to bring their own bikes on the guided bike rides. Please note that you must know how to ride a bike and be 18 years or older to participate. It's a perfect blend of exercise and exploration making each ride a unique and enriching experience.
