Bham Slam 2026

An olympic weightlifting meet in Birmingham, Alabama. Saturday April 25th, 2026

Hello Friends of Wheelhouse!

Join us for the BHAM SLAM 2026, an Olympic Weightlifting meet set on Saturday, April 25, 2026 held at Wheelhouse Academy, 2424 4th Ave South, Birmingham, 35233.

The aim is to provide a competition environment that is welcoming to all lifters, especially those new to the sport.

All ages, weight classes and experience levels are welcome. If you do not see your division/category during registration, please reach out to the email: luan@wheelhouse.academy

This will be a perfect meet for:

-A Comeback Meet: to knock the rust off and just get back on the platform again.

-A Warm Up Meet: Some of you may have a larger national / international level meet towards the end of the year and this would be perfect to iron out last minute details.

-Additional Meet Experience: Because you can never practice enough how you peak, train, warm up the day of, eat, make attempts etc.

-A First Meet: Encourage a teammate that is new to the sport. Or, if you would like to compete and dont know where to start and have tons of questions...reach out to us. We will meet with you to prepare and answer your questions for full success and an incredible first meet experience.

*This will be a SANCTIONED event where competitors are required to have an active USAW membership and required to wear singlets during the competition.

Regular Registration is March 16th - April 15th ($100)
Late Registration is April 16th - April 19th ($115)

All spectators are welcome with zero entry fee.
