When she meets Lukian, a gifted biology student, she is given a single task: to lure him to her lake, where mermaids and other nymphs await, ready to capture human souls. But instead of leading Lukian to his doom, Mavka falls in love with him. As her feelings deepen, she begins to realize that the mermaids will stop at nothing to keep her on the dark side.The film is in Ukrainian with English subtitles.Мавка — одна з німф лісового озера, істот, сповнених містики та небезпечної привабливості.
