Is this a kid-friendly volunteer opportunity?

Absolutely! Only Make Believe welcomes anyone who is willing to lend a hand to the community. This event and timeslot was created to specifically allow families the chance to get involved, but it is not exclusively for families or children.

Do I need to register everyone who will be joining me?

Yes, seating is limited, so please be sure to register everyone who will be participating in this activity so we can plan accordingly.

Can I drop my child off and pick them up at the end of the event?

No. Any participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Will photographs be taken during this event?

Yes, in order to promote our "Reel Impact Series" and future Family Volunteering Opportunities, we will be taking photographs throughout the event. You will be asked to sign a photo release upon signing up.

Watch a fun family-friendly movie and give back to your community at the same time!

Only Make Believe brings interactive theatre to children in hospitals, care facilities, and schools dedicated to serving children with disabilities. We need YOUR help to bring fun and creative costumes to these children!

We will be screening Pixar's "A Bug's Life" while creating themed costumes for the children Only Make Believe serves.

This is an easy arts-and-crafts volunteer activity that will require cutting and gluing craft supplies to hats and masks. All ages are welcome.

Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
