What can I expect?

Come hungry AND bring a shirt or tote! At this You Belong Here Cash Mob, we're gathering at Sanag Restaurant that will welcome you with their full menu available to order. They accept cash and all major credit cards. Then get screen printing next door at Amaal Event Center with Overproof!

What do I bring for screen printing?

For the best results, bring a t-shirt, sweatshirt, or tote bag in any color that will show black ink. Limit two items per guest, please! Plus, we'll be screen printing 200 bandanas to give away - show us your receipt from Sanag Restaurant or make a $5 donation to LSC to receive one.

Question 4

When should I show up?

Show up anytime between 4:00 and 7:00 pm! Note that screen printing will be as supplies last. If you're not able to visit during those 3 hours, these businesses strive to remain open and would love to see your support another time.

What safety measures will be in place?

Accepted Answer

The Lake Street Council staff and volunteers will be at both businesses to welcome all guests who are supportive of our immigrant community and not  I.C.E.  No photos or videos of the employees will be allowed. Photos and videos may be taken of attendees for promotional use only.

Do I need a ticket to attend?

Nope! Getting a ticket is appreciated, as it helps the businesses plan for the right number of visitors and is a success indicator for us. Plus, if you sign up, you’ll be the first to find out the locations and see the screen printing designs, 48 hours in advance!

This You Belong Here Cash Mob is organized by the Lake Street Council, also known as Visit Lake Street. The Lake Street Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that fosters economic vitality and amplifies Lake Street's vibrancy to create a thriving and livable commercial corridor in Minneapolis.
