Some artists possess an unrivaled ability to channel their authentic selves in their music. The striking, earthy and amiable chart-topping vocalist, Lindsey Webster, exemplifies this talent. Popmatters crowns her as “Classy, consistent, and exceptional” while All About Jazz declares she’s “keeping the tradition alive and taking it to the next level.” “I really feel comfortable in my skin right now,” confides the Woodstock native who admits that Bob Marley is her #1 most streamed artist followed by the eclectic rotation of Yo-Yo Ma, Mos Def, Olivia Dean, Aaliyah, Mariah Carey and Jeff Buckley. “I’ve got incredible people in my life, and I’ve learned to discern what is best for me. It’s all about remembering that, sprinkled throughout the trying times are still sunny days, joy, and love.” Lindsey’s equanimous nature, enviable vocal range and ability to craft candid and deceptively simple universal themes into timeless anthems, have garnered her a devoted international fanbase. Soultracks once nailed it by declaring, “If Carole King and Sade had a kid, she would be Lindsey Webster.” Lindsey remarkably is the only other vocalist since Sade in 2010 to have had a #1 hit on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz charts. Lindsey’s sophisticated fusion of Neo-soul, R&B, Jazz and Pop, shines on her anticipated seventh recording, Music In Me (February 27, 2026). She is joined by her long-time musical partner and pianist Keith Slattery, as well as a several Grammy-winning artists, including R&B favorites Stokley (Mint Condition, Prince, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson) and Anthony Hamilton (D’Angelo, Angie Stone Jill Scott, Al Green). Stokely not only duets with Lindsey but plays drums and percussion throughout the album. Music In Me also includes guest spots from Jazz/Hip-Hop trumpeter Keyon Harrold (PJ Morton, Beyoncé, Robert Glasper, Maxwell), guitarist Isaiah Sharkey (D’Angelo, John Mayer, Patti LaBelle, Keith Urban), and rapper/composer Kev Choice (Lauryn Hill, Michael Frante, Ledisi, Goapele).

Music In Me is Lindsey’s first album featuring a duet. Collaborating with another singer is something she has long wanted to do and finally accomplishes, twice, on what she calls her ‘lucky number seven album!’ She shares, “It’s a blessing to have the presence of two absolute icons.” “I have been singing along to ‘Po’ Folks’ since 2003 when I first heard Anthony. We all wondered if Charlene was ever gonna come home. Add to that, the fact that Stokley agreed to play drums and percussion on the album as well as sing! I have to say that I see these blessings in front of me and it makes my heart so full. Especially after experiencing such grief for so long!”

Lindsey Webster’s versatile and compelling vocals simply get better and better with every recording. At times her sublime voice calls to mind such iconic singers as Mariah Carey, Anita Baker and Roberta Flack. Her earnest and purposeful songwriting strikes a chord on Music In Me as she explores themes of love and loss. The album was written, recorded, produced and mixed over a period of three years. Lindsey’s soulful, jazzy and hypnotic sound are deeply rooted in her partnership with pianist Keith Slattery. Music In Me’s title track and enticing first single, opens the moving 13-track musical odyssey. It’s a soulful testament to the saving grace of music. “Music is my best friend. Raised in the creative haven of Woodstock, NY, Lindsey Webster turned away from medical school to make history in the music world, becoming the first vocalist since Sade to top the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart with her 2016 hit "Fool Me Once." Known for her soulful fusion of R&B and Jazz, Webster has enjoyed a decade of sustained chart dominance with acclaimed albums like Back To Your Heart and Reasons. Now, she marks a bold new chapter with her 2026 release, Music In Me featuring collaborations with Stokley and Anthony Hamilton. The album stands as her most personal work to date, further cementing her status as a premier voice in contemporary music.
