Mindfulness in the Garden: A Guided Forest Bathing Experience

Mindfulness in the Garden: A Guided Forest Bathing Experience

Conservation Garden ParkWest Jordan, UT
Saturday, Aug 8 from 10 am to 12 pm
Overview

Discover a peaceful way to connect with nature through the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku).

🌲Unlike a hike or fitness walk, forest bathing is a slow, mindful experience that invites you to relax, awaken your senses, and simply be in the garden.

🐌During this guided session, you'll learn gentle techniques for slowing down, noticing details, and tuning into the sights, sounds, textures, and fragrances around you. There is no destination and no rush! Only an opportunity to breathe deeply, unwind, and find clarity in the beauty of the garden.

🌸As you move through Conservation Garden Park, you'll also experience firsthand how waterwise landscapes can nurture both our environment and our community. Whether you are hoping to unwind, reconnect with yourself, or discover a new way to enjoy the garden, this restorative practice offers a refreshing pause and meaningful connection to the ecosystems around you.

This class is for ages 16 and up. Class will meet in the Education Center at Conservation Garden Park.

🌼Hosted by Rachel Hodge with Suni-ai Forest Bathing.
