Yes! This workshop is completely free of charge. Our goal is to provide you with the education and tools you need to feel confident in your homebuying journey.

Do I need to be a first-time homebuyer to attend?

While the course is designed with first-time buyers in mind, anyone interested in learning about the homebuying process in Washington or those looking to qualify for WSHFC assistance programs is welcome to attend.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Accepted Answer

Just yourself and something to take notes with! We will provide all the necessary materials and information. You are also welcome to bring any specific questions you have about the mortgage or real estate process.

Will there be breaks?

Yes, because this is a 5-hour workshop, we will include scheduled breaks & snacks to ensure you stay refreshed and focused.

Can I bring a co-buyer or partner?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. If you are planning to buy a home with a spouse or partner, it is highly beneficial for both of you to attend the training together. Please make sure they also register so we have an accurate headcount.
