Get ready for an electrifying day at Widow's Walk! After the cancellation of last year's Thunder of Louisville (for the first time in history), I expect this year to be absolutely amazing! In addition to celebrating the largest annual fireworks event in North America, we'll also be celebrating the last main event here at Widow's Walk with me at the helm! With the ice cream shop up for sale, negotiations ongoing and the length of time this process takes, I've decided to both concentrate on getting the season up and running (so it'll be ready for me to "pass the torch" when the time comes), AND have one last THUNDER PARTY to celebrate my nearly 10 years of owning the ice creamery!

With all that being said, join us for an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, awesome vibes, and plenty of surprises. Bring your friends, feel the energy, and make some epic memories!

TICKET SALES END APRIL 1 (or before then if alotted number of tickets are sold)!

INCLUDED WITH EACH TICKET:

Reserved Seating - Pick your spot, and enjoy coming and going all day without losing it (we won't be responsible for items left at your spot, but will GUARANTEE your spot will be waiting for you when you get back)! Seating includes what is seen in the pictures below (grassy area not included and the playhouse will be in another location, if it remains at all). We also have several empty "bring your own chair" spots. No canopies, tents, etc. allowed on premises. However, in the event of rain, we will provide a covered area to stay dry. Spots will be prioritized by ticket purchase, and can be selected beginning April 1 (i.e. first person to purchase a ticket, will get their choice on seating before the second person who purchased a ticket does, and so forth). The property will be fenced off and only available to ticket holders.

Free Meal - Each ticketholder will receive a ticket for a FREE meal, including a hot dog, chips and a drink (extras will be available for purchase at a 20% discount).

Free Ice Cream - Each ticketholder will get a free CUP of ice cream from our menu of over 23 flavors (all other items on our menu, including our famous banana splits, will be available at 20% off).

Raffle Ticket - One free raffle ticket will be provided to each ticketholder for a chance to win a variety of different prizes on display throughout the day (including gift cards, gift baskets, Taylor Swift CD's, Animae gifts, etc. ) Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase, with the raffle drawings taking place at 6:00 pm.

Clean Restroom - Every ticketholder will have access to an INDOOR, NICE, CLEAN restroom (NO PORTA POT)! There will be just a few "house rules" though (see below).

SPECIAL PERKS:

Coolers ARE allowed (no alcohol) - We realize it's a long day and are aware of how costly it can be at an event with so many food vendors, so Ticketholders are allowed to bring in coolers with drinks and food, but absolutely NO ALCOHOL is allowed on the premises FOR ANY REASON (you will be asked to leave, and no refund given, if alcohol is brought on the premises). The only other thing NOT ALLOWED to be brought in is ICE CREAM (of course) LOL!

Early Drop Off/Late Pick Up - With NO PARKING available on Riverside Drive the day of Thunder, ticketholders will have to walk to the venue. For those bringing their own chairs, blankets, tables, or anything that would be difficult to carry, we will arrange for a "drop off" of items at the venue on THURSDAY (street is blocked on Friday), where we will safely store the items until your arrival on Saturday (Thunder day). Then, rather than have to carry everything on your walk back once the fireworks show is over Saturday evening, we will store the items until you can pick them up on Sunday.

Music, dancing and more - Enjoy our all encompassing playlist that will make anyone want to sing along and/or get up and move, so polish up on all those favorite dances (Electric Slide, Cha-Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Wobble, Boot Scootin Boogie, Watermelon Crawl, Country Girl Shake and more)! We'll also be broadcasting the fireworks audio once the show begins.

Best View - Being right on the river at Ashland Park, you'll have the best unobstructed view of the fireworks show this side of Indiana, and with literally THOUSANDS of people in attendance, you'll have your own space at Widow's Walk, away from the crowds, with plenty of elbow room (or, you could be in the FREE seating section (see picture below)...with the Porta-Pots, and little to no elbow room!)
