Join 21c Museum Hotel Louisville for a Sip & Tour on April 24th at 5:30pm! Enjoy a guided tour through our current exhibition, “Revival: Digging Into Yesterday, Planting Tomorrow” while you enjoy a special cocktail from Proof on Main inspired by the artwork on display.

Tickets are $20 and include the guided tour and an art inspired cocktail. Attendees must be 21+.

This month’s cocktail, Penumbra, is inspired by artist Suchitra Mattai's 2023 piece; “Eclipse”. Penumbra is the outer, lighter part of the shadow created by an eclipse. This cocktail reimagines the classic daiquiri through the addition of amaro, falernum, orange, and crushed ice to introduce additional depth and a return to an earlier format of the often-reimagined drink. This piece speaks to the idea that the stories and histories of people are often ignored, erased, or retold through a new lense. The origin story of the Daiquiri is full of many laying claims to its creation while the combination of rum, lime, and sugar had been imbibed for centuries prior to its first written record.
