Browder.<h3>A Taste of Africa: An Evening of Food, Fashion, Music, and Culture</h3>Date: Friday, May 1, 2026 Time: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM(Doors open at 6:00pm) Location: AME Bethel Community Center 225 N Swiss St. San Antonio, TX 78202 Cost: $50per person ($360 for a table of 8)🌍 Event Description: Kick off the 11th annual Pan-African Festival Weekend with “A Taste of Africa”—an unforgettable evening filled with delicious African cuisine, vibrant African fashion show, African drumming, film and a dynamic keynote speaker, Anthony T. Browder.6:30 PM – Libations, Taste of Africa, and Fashion Enjoy African cuisine, cultural fellowship, and fashion. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best African attire.7:30 PM – Documentary Film Screening John Henrik Clarke: A Long and Mighty WalkThis powerful documentary by filmmaker St. Clair Bourne explores the life and legacy of legendary historian Dr. John Henrik Clarke.
