Stop Motion Animation Camp (Ages 8-14) at Locust Street Art

Work together to create characters, write a story, and make your characters come to life, all with Stop Motion Animation!

Stop motion animation is a technique that makes physical objects appear to move on their own by taking a series of still photos, each with slight object adjustments, and playing them back sequentially to create the illusion of motion.

In this summer camp, students will work together to create a fully animated stop motion film, from designing characters to audio recording! Students will be instructed on how to successfully create a storyboard, create custom and adaptable figurines for animating, and use state of the art animation software to string their still photos together, creating a one of a kind animation.

Stop Motion Animation Camp is intended for ages 8-14.

Stop Motion Animation Camp: July 27th - July 31st

Stop Motion Animation Camp runs every weekday during the session from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
