The goal of this workshop is to learn how to effectively communicate and motivate your team in order to create a respectful work place.

The Mission of the Center for Mediation is to train, educate and mediate- empowering Rhode Islanders to resolve their conflicts. The Newport Partnership for Families is excited to bring the Center’s trainers to Aquidneck Island for a session focused on effective de-escalation. <a href="http://www.cmcri.org/" title="http://www.cmcri.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">WWW.CMCRI.ORG</a>During this session, participants will build on knowledge around communication as well as learn skills and strategies around de-escalation to engage in successful challenging conversations with clients, colleagues and partners. Specific topics will include: exploration of conflict, personal assessments in conflict management and communication, the escalation cycle, strategies to help de-escalate and practice in navigating through challenging situations.I look forward to the session!
