Birch Bay, Birds and Brew Guided Nature Walk

Wings Over Water Northwest is an all volunteer, non profit, tax-exempt organization. Our mission is to promote conservation, education and stewardship of the birds and their habitat in the Pacific Northwest as well as encourage ecotourism to support the economy. Wings Over Water, Northwest Birding Festival is one of the ways we provide education, while also providing the opportunity to bring significant economic benefits to this rich and pristine area.  Donations to help support our missions and Festival are most welcome!

Join in a guided nature walk in Birch Bay State Park by Pam Borso of North Cascades Audubon Society to learn about the natural history of this unique area and the birds and native plants that thrive here. After the walk, come and socialize over beer (no host) at nearby Beach Cat Brewery, 7876 Birch Bay Drive.This is a free event, space is limited registration required.Notes: Meet at the BP Heron Center, 7290 Birch Bay Drive, Birch Bay State Park. A Discover Pass or a $10 day pass is required for parking within the state park. A pass can be purchased at kiosks in the park. Dress for the weather.
