2nd Public Health & AI Summer School
Your gateway to the AI revolution in public health
The 2nd Public Health & AI Summer School returns to the University of Arizona on June 8-11, 2026. This four-day intensive program brings together public health professionals, researchers, and practitioners to develop practical AI skills through hands-on learning.
Choose between two tracks: AI Literacy for those new to AI who want to understand the fundamentals and apply tools in their daily work, or AI Fluency for those ready to build reproducible workflows, implement RAG systems, and deploy AI solutions.
All participants come together in the afternoon for the AI Maker Space — collaborative sessions where you'll work on real projects with expert guidance. Daily expert panels explore topics from health design implementation to the environmental impact of AI.
Earn an official micro-credential from the University of Arizona. Walk away not just with knowledge, but with skills you can apply immediately.
Program content and schedule are subject to change without prior notice. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the refund policy: refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 30 days before the event. Registration transfers to another person are permitted.
