Matt Jaffe
San Francisco songwriter Matt Jaffe was discovered at sixteen by Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads, who produced his debut album and set him on a lifelong musical path. Since then, Matt has cowritten with Tom Higgenson of Plain White T’s, opened for Blues Traveler and Wilco, and released nine albums blending sharp lyricism with kinetic energy.
He has also directed music for experimental theater, collaborated with poets, and built creative communities through songwriter residencies. Living with epilepsy since 2015, Matt uses his music to connect and advocate within epilepsy communities. His latest album, Gone Enough to Miss, is out now, with a follow‑up coming in 2025.
