No experience is needed. All practices are guided step by step, and you are encouraged to listen to your body throughout the day. This retreat is suitable for both beginners and those with prior experience.

Is the ice bath optional?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cold immersion is always an invitation, never a requirement. You will be supported in choosing what feels right for your body and nervous system.

Is this event physically demanding?

Accepted Answer

The day is intentionally paced and includes rest, nourishment, and integration. While there are moments of intensity,  everything is designed to be accessible and supportive.

What Should I Bring

Please bring comfortable clothing, layers, a towel and change of clothes for the ice bath, a yoga mat and a water bottle. You may also want a journal and anything that helps you feel grounded, such as a blanket or cushion.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and relax. Layers are recommended. For the ice bath, bring a swimsuit and warm clothes to change into afterward.

Are there any health considerations I should be aware of?

Cold immersion may not be suitable for everyone, including those who are pregnant or have certain medical conditions such as cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, or severe anxiety disorders. If you have concerns, please consult your healthcare provider before attending.

Will I need to share or speak during the retreat?

No verbal sharing is required. You are welcome to share if you feel called, but all practices can be experienced fully without speaking.

What food will be provided?

Nourishing, grounding foods will be provided, including warm soups, root vegetables, and herbal teas. Please let us know in advance if you have dietary restrictions.

The Life Shift Method is a guided approach that uses breath, energy work, and sound to support nervous system regulation, subconscious awareness, and deep personal transformation without the need for verbal processing.
