Restoring Heritage Landscapes: Gardening with Native Species in a Desert

In February, the Trust will host Somil Daga, an ecologist associated with the Mehrangarh Museum Trust, as part of an exchange facilitated by the International National Trusts Organisation. Somil is an eco-restoration practitioner who has worked on projects at the intersection of ecology and cultural heritage across Rajasthan in India.
During this talk, Somil will share his experiences working with two key projects - the Rao Jodha Desert Rock park in Jodhpur, and the restoration of the historic Abha Mahal Garden in the Nagaur Fort.
