Who are these sessions for?

Divaneering Saturday STEM Drop-In Sessions are designed for girls in 3rd through 8th grade who are curious about STEM & Innovation and enjoy hands-on learning experiences.

How long are the sessions?

Each session is 2 hours long.

Is this a drop-off program?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This is a supervised drop-off program.

Adults are encouraged to wait in our lobby rather than remain in the program space to avoid distractions and to provide girls the agency to engage as independent thinkers and problem-solvers.

Question 4

Can parents or guardians stay on-site?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Parents and guardians are welcome to remain in the building lobby during the session. We kindly ask that adults do not stay inside the programming space unless otherwise noted.

Question 5

Can youth organizations or groups attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Youth organizations, schools, and community-based groups are welcome to participate. Each girl must be registered individually, and group leaders are responsible for coordinating registration and attendance for their group.

Is there a cost to attend?

No. These sessions are free. Due to limited capacity, advance registration is required.

What should participants bring?

All materials will be provided. Girls should arrive ready to engage, explore, and participate in hands-on activities.

Will snacks be provided?

Yes. Light snacks, including Rice Krispy treats, will be provided.

What happens if a session is full?

Once capacity is reached, registration will close and a waitlist will become available. Interested parties will be notified if a spot opens.

Where is parking available?

Street parking is available along S. Charles Street

A nearby parking garage is located at 30 Light Street for adults who plan to remain in the area

What if I prefer drop-off only?

Accepted Answer

For drop-off, you may pull into the loading dock at 100 Light Street. Entry to the loading dock is off of S. Charles Street.
