Tavern at the Crossroads is a seasonal, outdoor medieval tavern experience in Hayward, CA. Guests gather under the trees to share food, drink homebrewed mead, play games, and connect. Costumes welcome. Donations keep the hearth warm and the ale flowing.

The new fee helps us prevent bots from claiming spots and reduces no-shows.
However, we don’t want to charge you through Eventbrite! We’d much rather you donate at the tavern instead.

What is the cost/price of the event?

Accepted Answer

To help cover the costs of the event, we ask each attendee for a donation of $30. However, you are welcome to donate what you can afford - from $0 to whatever your limit is! There are some incentives for donating more, and you can learn more at the event. More donations help us grow!

Do I need to dress up?

No. But it's always more fun when you do. In the past, about 50% of people wear "normal" clothing. However, if you dress up we'll likely toss a few extra coins your way.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

21+ and ID is required due to the presence of ale.
