America Boating Safety Course (USCG Auxiliary – NJ)

This Boating Safely course satisfies the 8-hour course requirement for the Boating Safety Certificate in the State of New Jersey.

All persons who wish to operate a vessel in the State of New Jersey MUST have a New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate. (If you are from PA, your PA certificate is good for 90 days or less in New Jersey.) This course is taught by certified Coast Guard Auxiliary Instructors. It includes the required time requirement and course content including specific information on the laws of New Jersey. At the end of the course, an examination is administered and upon passing the exam, a valid temporary New Jersey Boat Safety Certificate will be issued. The formal certificate will be issued by the State of New Jersey and mailed to you at a future date.

This course will be held at Waterfront Marine in Somers Point NJ, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM - including ample time to take the exam. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
