Students learn the core skills that power all great improv, including listening, agreement, spontaneity, and ensemble teamwork, in a safe, supportive environment that values laughter over perfection.

Discover Unexpected Productions' philosophy of improvisation, developed over our 43 years of improvising in Seattle! You'll learn how to actively listen, to use your own life to create collaborative stories, and you'll work on the fundamental principles of improvisation: what it means to say, "Yes, And", how to tell stories that include everyone in the room, how to stop worrying about failing, and the games and concepts behind what we do on stages around the world! If you think you will have to miss the first class, please consider registering for the next quarter.No Prerequisites. All students begin at this level, even those with existing improv experience.
