Beginning Handbuilding Ceramics, Ages 9-12
Students will create unique pieces of art by handbuilding and glazing clay. Develop your skills in pinching, sculpting, and glazing!
Students will create unique pieces of art by handbuilding and glazing clay that will be fired in a kiln. Artists will be shown a demo project that will be shaped by the current class' interests. Possible projects will include animal pieces, cups, vases, bowls, pots, and other unusual creations. Students will enjoy developing their skills in pinching, sculpting, and playing with glaze techniques. Let's bring your creativity to form!
Please be aware of our important age requirement policy:
Students must be within the age range specified in the class listing. Barnsdall Junior Arts Center reserves the right to cancel enrollment for any students who are not within the specified age range.
This class will meet in Studio 3 for 8 weeks on Tuesdays from 3:30pm-5:00pm beginning April 14th and ending June 2nd.

New Class Fees
In order to register for this class we require students to pay two fees:
- LAB FEE: Paid online through Eventbrite. This is for materials.
- CLASS FEE: Paid in person in cash or check. This goes to the Department of Cultural Affairs.
The LAB FEE for this class is $10
The CLASS FEE for this class is $36
