Disaster Relief Training 2026 - PARKERSBURG

When disaster strikes, WV SBC Disaster Relief volunteers are often among the first to respond, bringing help, healing, and hope to those in need. Join us at West Ripley Baptist Church, in Ripley, WV for hands-on training, including an Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, and Flood Recovery, to gain valuable skills and serve on mission with other WV Southern Baptists.

Schedule:

• 7:30–8:00 Registration
• 8:00–12:00 Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief
• 12:00–1:00 Lunch (provided)
• 1:00–5:00 Flood Recovery / Chainsaw Safety

This training equips members of WVCSB churches to respond with confidence as part of one of the nation’s largest disaster response networks. Through a straightforward credentialing process, volunteers are prepared to serve wherever help is needed, both locally and globally. Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

• MARCH 22 – Simpson Creek Baptist (Bridgeport)
• APRIL 18 – Witcher Baptist (Belle)
• MAY 16 – Southside Southern Baptist (Parkersburg)
• SEPTEMBER 19 – Danville Community Baptist (Rawlings, MD)
