Where can I park?

Ample free off-street parking is available in our parking lot.  Please use GPS address 136 Livingston Avenue to take you to our parking lot.   The Ten Broeck Mansion is also readily accessed via public transportation and on foot - see our website for details.

Is this tour suitable for all ages?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  While special focus tours are primarily for adults, all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Please keep in mind these focus tours are lecture-focused and some very young children may find them lengthy. Please see our website for family-focused activities.

Is this tour suitable for people of all abilities?

Accepted Answer

The Ten Broeck Mansion and its grounds include uneven walkways and historic staircases: walking shoes recommended. Ten Broeck Mansion has ADA accessible parking and photo binders for upstairs and basement. Please contact us for more information about accessibility.

What else can I do as part of my visit?

Accepted Answer

We suggest an additional 20-30 minutes to explore our historic gardens on your own with self-guided tours and browse our museum shop of local artisan goods and books.  Local restaurants and dining options are available in downtown Albany NY.
