One evening exploring love and marriage.We’ll watch In the Mood for Love by Wong Kar-wai and Le Grand Amour by Pierre Étaix — but this is more than a screening.These films explore love and marriage not as answers, but as lived experiences — sometimes quiet, sometimes playful, always fragile.<h3>What we’ll do</h3>🍵 Share tea and slow down. 🀄 Play mahjong — a traditional Chinese game of strategy, memory, and chance, woven into everyday life and social rituals. 🎬 Discover interesting and unexpected facts from the world of Wong Kar-wai — his inspirations, obsessions, rhythms. 🌿 Explore scents and connect them to feelings — love, longing, nostalgia, calm. 🎧 Listen, observe, and wander through light, sound, and memory. 🎭 Feel yourself becoming part of the film — not watching from the outside, but inhabiting its atmosphere. 🎥 And of course, watch the films as one continuous journey.These films speak about love and marriage in different tones, through different emotional registers.One draws you into a world of half-tones, pauses, and unspoken feeling — a slow immersion into longing, restraint, and inner depth.The other gently amuses, shimmering like colored glass caught in sunlight — light, tender, ironic, and human.Thematic outfits are encouraged. Inspired by: Hong Kong, love, sleep, mystery. 1960s silhouettes, silk, pajamas, soft veils and wedding veils, quiet elegance, playful irony.
