Class Description
In this workshop we will discuss the ethics and artistry of playing in the shadows of the mind. We will begin with consent and risk profiles, followed by a journey into predation, humiliation, degradation, dark age play, trauma reenactment, body fluid play, religion, and other dark corners of the soul. We will exit our journey with how to rebuild, ground, and center as we step back into the light of everyday life.
Please note, this workshop will NOT directly address race or ethnicity play. Discussions related to race and ethnicity will occur in the context of consent and risk profiles. Questions related to race and ethnicity specific play will be redirected to outside sources.
Presenter Sir Nick Evolution (and his pig)
Co- Head of House Evolution, Nick (he/him/Sir) is a middle-age, white, trans-masculine genderqueer, ND, QUEERAF, primal, sadomasochistic Dragon. His Leather is values driven and supportive of folks who embody service, truth, and honor. He plays on the edge, at that place where risk, vulnerability, pleasure, and surrender intersect. Nick negotiates using PRICK or TRICK consent models. He is in service to Ritual Steel as a guide and facilitator, to his dynamics, and to his chosen family. A retired therapist, He further supports the health and well being of the community via his business Modern Path and the fiscally sponsored not for profit project the Modern Path Access Fund.
