Lyndsay Kane is one of the proud new owners of Anaway Place and Certified Yoga Instructor. Lyndsay has been teaching Hatha, Vinyasa flow, Astanga, Pre-natal, Therapuetic, and Restorative yoga since 2007, though the practice has been part of her life since childhood. Lyndsay’s classes are rooted in a spirit of exploration, discovery, and intentionality. She emphasizes that yoga is not about how “strong, flexible or good” you are, but how you approach each pose with mindfulness, care and sense of joy. Whether you are brand new to yoga, or an avid practitioner she will meet you where you are and guide you through a class designed to leave you feeling amazing at the end. With a keen eye on alignment and safety, she weaves in thoughtful themes drawn from daily life, class input, and her ongoing reflections on a variety of texts and traditions. She hopes that the joy she finds in the practice infuses your experience as well—that the lessons learned on the mat, the challenges you meet, and the discoveries you unearth become tools you carry with you into daily life.
