A Two-Day Culinary Adventure for Ages 5–8!

Get ready to stir, sprinkle, and sauté! Our Cloverbud Cooking & Baking Camp is a hands-on experience designed specifically for our youngest chefs. Over two days, your child will explore the kitchen in a safe, fun, and high-energy environment.

📅 Camp Details

  • Dates: July 7–8
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Location: Pitt County Ag Center
  • 403 Government Circle, Greenville, NC 27834
  • Ages: 5–8

👩‍🍳 What Your Little Chef Will Discover

This camp isn't just about making treats; it’s about building confidence and "grown-up" skills in a kid-friendly way. We will focus on:

  • Kitchen Safety 101: Learning how to stay safe around tools and appliances (with plenty of adult supervision!).
  • Measuring & Mixing: Practicing fine motor skills and basic math through "leveling off" flour and cracking eggs.
  • Food Science Fun: Seeing how ingredients change from gooey dough to fluffy cookies.
  • Healthy Habits: Learning why washing hands is our #1 "recipe step" and exploring where our food comes from.
  • Masterpiece Creations: Every camper will decorate their own treats to bring home and share with the family!

📝 Note for Parents

Since this camp involves food, please ensure your child’s 4-H Online profile is updated with any specific food allergies or sensitivities so we can keep the kitchen safe for everyone.

What to Bring:

Closed-toe shoes (required for kitchen safety)

Hair tie or headband (for long hair)

Refillable water bottle with child's name

Snacks will be provided and we will be taste testing our creations!

🏕️ Getting Your Camper Camp-Ready

Every child attending camp must have an active profile in 4-H Online. This is our primary system for managing camper safety and communication.

Register Here:v2.4honline.com

Why This Matters for Parents

We know "one more form" can be a hassle, but this system is specifically designed to keep your child safe while they are in our care:

  • Insurance Coverage: Once your child’s profile is marked "Active," they are automatically covered by 4-H accidental insurance for the duration of the camp.
  • Instant Medical Access: In the event of an allergy or emergency, our staff has immediate, secure access to the digital health forms and emergency contacts you provide.
  • Privacy First: The system is PCI and HIPAA compliant, meaning your family’s sensitive medical and personal data is kept strictly confidential and secure.
  • Stay in the Loop: You’ll receive important camp updates, arrival/departure details, and information on future youth scholarships and events.

How to Register

  1. Create a Family Profile: If you are new to 4-H, start by creating one primary account for your household.
  2. Add Your Camper: Create an individual profile for each child attending camp.
  3. Complete the Health Form: Ensure the medical section is up-to-date so our camp counselors are fully prepared to support your child.
