This childbirth preparation class focuses on pain coping, evidence, and advocacy. We will meet via Zoom on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm ET for 4 consecutive weeks, beginning May 13 and ending June 3, 2026. This accelerated course format covers the whole EBB Childbirth Class content in 4 sessions.Week 1 - Orientation, Phases &amp; Physiology of Labor, Evidence Based Care, Providers and Birth Settings, Building your Toolkit (2 h)Week 2 - Pain Coping, Comfort Measures, Advocacy (1.5 h)Week 3 - Interventions, Birth Plans, More Advocacy (1.5 h)Week 4 - Pain Coping Rehearsal, Postpartum Preparation and Finding Resources to Support You (2 h)Video material will be covered by students, independently each week, prior to each of the live Zoom classes. Your childbirth class includes, for you and a partner:• Skilled mentorship from Jen, your EBB Instructor and experienced doula and childbirth educator.
