AI-Agent-a-thon: Building Practical AI Agents for Real Business Impact

AI-Agent-a-thon: Building Practical AI Agents for Real Business Impact

The Rose BowlLeeds, England
Tuesday, Mar 10 from 9:30 am to 1 pm
Overview

AI agents are rapidly becoming a priority for small and medium-sized businesses.

Yet many organisations struggle to turn that potential into something practical.

The AI- Agent-a-thon is a hands-on workshop delivered by TrulySMB, a trusted Microsoft partner. The session focuses on real business challenges and outcomes, helping participants design and prototype a Copilot-powered AI agent tailored to a real use case within their organisation, from streamlining internal processes to supporting sales, service, or operational teams.

Attendees will work in small groups alongside experts to build a working agent prototype, gain clarity on what’s achievable today, and leave with clear next steps for implementation. No deep technical experience is required.

Is there a cost to attend?

No - attendance is free at all WYIF events, but places are limited due to the small-group format.

Do I need Microsoft Copilot or special licences?

No. You don’t need Microsoft Copilot licences in place to attend or take part.

During the session, we’ll explain the different options available for using and scaling agents after the event, and what that might mean for your business. There’s no obligation to purchase anything.

Where do the AI agents run, and is it secure?

Agents are built within Microsoft’s secure environment and follow standard Microsoft 365 security, privacy, and compliance controls.

You stay in control of who can create, publish, and use agents, and how they access data. We’ll also cover best practices for governance during the session.

What should I bring?

Bring a real business problem you’d like to explore, any non-sensitive sample data you’re happy to use, and an idea of where you’d like the agent to live (such as Microsoft Teams or a web application). It would be ideal if you can bring along your laptop.

No technical background is required.
