The Signature Sounds Residency invites TORIBIO - New York’s genre-bending connector of house, soul, jazz, and global rhythm

A true student of rhythm and a master of musical connection, Toribio is a Dominican-American DJ, producer, musician, and bandleader whose sound moves fluidly between jazz, soul, funk, pan-Latin grooves, raw house, and electro. With roots in church music and jazz drumming, and years spent refining his craft across studios, stages, and dancefloors, Toribio brings a deep musicality and emotional intelligence to everything he touches.

As the creative force behind the live house fusion project Conclave—whose debut album was named one of Resident Advisor’s best of 2021 and praised by Rolling Stone and The New Yorker - Toribio has carved out a unique lane that bridges live musicianship and club culture. His DJ sets are a masterclass in pacing and tension, gliding seamlessly between genres while keeping the dancefloor locked from start to finish. From Brooklyn block parties to Boiler Room and clubs across Mexico City and Tokyo, he is known for selections that are as intentional as they are powerful.
