Question 1

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Accepted Answer

If the event is sold out, we will not be selling any additional tickets on-site.

Question 2

Does the event sell out?

Accepted Answer

Every previous Ballard Wine Walk has sold-out in advance. Be sure to grab your tickets early! For context, there were over a hundred people signed up on our waitlist for last fall's walk.

Question 3

Where is the check in and what do I need to know?

Accepted Answer

Check-in will take place from 4PM to 6:15PM at Columbia Bank Ballard (5512 22nd Ave NW). All participants need to have a 21+ ID & arrive at check-in before it closes at 6:15 to receive a Wine Walk wristband. This applies to everyone who will be tasting, not just the person who purchased the ticket.

Question 4

Is drinkware provided?

Accepted Answer

If you purchased a ticket with drinkware, you will receive a commemorative Wine Walk tasting glass at check in. Otherwise, drinkware is not provided, so please plan on bringing your own drinking vessel or purchasing a glass for $10 at Columbia Bank.

Question 5

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

Check out our Visit Ballard digital map & guide. You can click on the parking feature and find surface and garage lots nearest to your selected location on the map. You can click on the (P) icon on the map for more information about that lot/garage parking. https://www.visitballard.com/explore/

Question 6

Are dogs allowed to attend?

Accepted Answer

While most of our shops are dog friendly, space is limited. It is best to leave your furbabies at home for this lively event.

Question 7

How do I purchase bottles of wine?

Accepted Answer

Great question! Bottles will be available for purchase at each tasting station until 8:00PM.

Question 8

Where should I eat and dine before & after the event?

Accepted Answer

Ballard is full of fantastic places to wine and dine! Before the event, we'll send out a list of restaurants having special discounts just for Wine Walk participants. You may also find a directory of Ballard restaurants at https://www.visitballard.com/explore/

Question 9

What do I do with my kid(s)?

Accepted Answer

Assuming your children are under the age of 21, they are not able to participate in the wine tasting. However, each of our participating venues are open to all ages. If they are old enough to be left unattended, they are welcome to borrow your credit card and shop while you sip amazing wine.
