Gelitin: All For All
Please join us for a lecture-performance by Gelitin
Characterized by disparate yet unifying backgrounds, Gelitin pursues their practice at the fragile crossroads of humor, spontaneity, childlike naiveté, and blatant sexuality—an approach that has given rise to their over-the-top performances and visually enticing work. Anticipating relational aesthetics, Gelitin plays with audience participation and collaboration as a central tenet of their oeuvre. Attitudes become form, and viewers are invited to join in, defying routine behavior while experiencing art from a new perspective.
This lecture-performance coincides with Gelitin’s upcoming exhibition, Gelitin: All For All, at Perrotin in New York City, on view from March 5–April 11, 2026.
This event is supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum New York and the Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport - Republic of Austria.
