Join poet Emanuel Xavier for a special NYC book launch at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, celebrating his new poetry collection Still, We Are Sacred.
The evening will feature a live poetry reading by Emanuel Xavier, including a collaborative poem performed with poet Douglas G. Cala, followed by a conversation with filmmaker Jennie Livingston (Paris Is Burning). Together, they’ll reflect on poetry, queer history, cultural memory, and the ongoing work of survival and resistance.
The program will conclude with a book signing. Copies of Still, We Are Sacred will be available for purchase.
