For tickets select date or more options tab and then select tickets tab and choose drive session time slot.
REQUIRED: COMPLETE VIDEOS 1 & 2 PRIOR TO YOUR HANDS-ON TRAINING DATE. To access the video links please contact your department training officer -OR- your DPSST Regional Training Coordinator if you are signing up from outside of the Eastern District. Complete Part 1 and 2 prior to your arrival.
DPSST Skid Avoidance training utilizes an economy class Freightliner tractor with skid carriages attached to the vehicle frame. The carriages allow the instructor to preset the vehicle to simulate the different types of skids a driver may encounter. The drive portion of this course places into practice experiencing the different type of skids and identifying the cause of the skids. With proper eye placement, shuffle steering, and braking, students will be able to prevent the phenomena.
Each ticket is for 1 person for 1 drive session for 1 hour time. Please order 1 ticket for each individual person so we have contact information for each person in case of a change in scheduling. Thank you
Students: We have a very specific schedule so please arrive on time for your driving session. Students arriving late may be asked to return at another driving session time slot.
