Celebrate the closing of Black History Month at Phoenix Center for the Arts–the culmination of our two-day immersion in Black arts.

Experience the closing party for Living Black Worlds—a weekend rooted in art, sound, love and community.

Join us in the Black Box Theatre and get ready to move your body, mind and spirit in celebration of African Diaspora expression.

DJ MyGodComplex will set the vibe all evening as we celebrate the end of a powerful two-day experince + explore an exhibition of visual works by the BLK RVR Artist Collective, featuring powerful pieces by Trinity Miracle, Felicia Penza, Myja Lark, Nova Baize and more.

We’ll also enjoy delicious bites from Lasgidi Café, our community’s premier food truck serving Nigerian cuisine.

This gathering is part of Living Black Worlds, a two-day immersion in African Diaspora music, dance, art, film and literature curated by Black River Life, with venue and presenting partner Phoenix Center for the Arts.
