Join Black River Life and Phoenix Center for the Arts for an intimate author meet-up and book conversation as part of the two-day Black History Month celebration titled "Living Black Worlds."We’ll be gathering on Fri., Feb. 27 in the Black Box Theater with author Arianne Edmonds to talk about her powerful book, We Now Belong to Ourselves—a story of family, identity, belonging and claiming Black dignity on our own terms.Hear directly from the author, ask questions, share reflections and sit in community with local voices including—Cloves Campbell (Arizona Informant)Retha Hill (NABJ Hall of Fame Journalism Pioneer)Carla Lyndale Bishop (ASU Poitier Film School)Moderated by Dr. Treya Allen (University of Arizona)This event is free and open to the public.
