Join Living Black Worlds: Hip-Hop Dance Class with Lotus

Come move your body and spirit in this high-energy, in-person hip-hop dance class led by dancer, designer and multidisciplinary creative LotusXN.

Emani “LotusXN” Spencer is a multidisciplinary artist, choreographer, and creative director, and the founder of LotusXN Productions. With roots in Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, & Afrikana dance, Lotus blends passion and precision in every performance. Lotus is dedicated to sharing her art with the world and uplifting the BIPOC & QTPOC communities, as well as the next generation of creatives.

Whether you’re brand new to hip-hop or have been dancing for years, this class invites you to connect with the culture, learn fresh choreography and let your body speak.

Bring your energy, your style and your appetite: Lunch bites will be served in the courtyard by local soul food favorites, Kings Plate.

This workshop is part of Living Black Worlds, a two-day immersion in Black cultural arts and heritage curated by Black River Life at Phoenix Center for the Arts.
