How do I get to Governors Island?

Governors Island is only accessible by ferry. There are two ferries that run to Governors Island every day: ferries operated by the Trust for Governors Island leaving from 10 South Street in Lower Manhattan, and NYC Ferry via the South Brooklyn route. Tickets & info at govisland.org/ferry.

Ferries depart 10 South Street every 30 minutes, and it's a 7-minute journey from Lower Manhattan to Governors Island. You're welcome to drop into the event any time between 1-6PM. The event schedule will be released in the coming weeks.

Where do I go once I arrive on the Island?

Accepted Answer

The event will be held in Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Arts Center at Governors Island, located directly off the ferry from 10 South Street in Manhattan. Staff and signage will be in place to guide you to the event entrance.
