Join us for a hands-on honey harvesting workshop where you'll learn the fascinating process from hive to jar. Whether you're a beginning beekeeper or simply curious about where your honey comes from, this immersive day will give you practical skills and deeper appreciation for these remarkable pollinators.

We'll explore how bees create honey, walk through various harvesting techniques suited for different scales of beekeeping, and discuss the essential equipment you'll need. But this isn't just theory – you'll get your hands sticky as we harvest fresh honey together, experiencing each step of the process firsthand.

Perfect for aspiring beekeepers, homesteaders, or anyone interested in sustainable food production. You'll leave with new knowledge, practical experience, and a deeper connection to the bees that make it all possible.

This class will be taught live by JK Yarborough, in Orange County at the UF/IFAS Extension Office, located at 6021 S. Conway Rd, Orlando, FL 32812.

Cost is $45.00 per person.
