Women's Social Golf Community Meetup

Golf Ireland is delighted to announce our next meet-up of Ireland’s first Women’s Social Golf Community. Chip & Chat aims to provide an engaging, fun, and safe space, for women of all abilities to come together and connect with people of similar ages and play golf.

On October 9th attendees will have access to Forrest Golf Course throughout the evening for a Lunar Golf Experience, not forgetting music and tasty snacks on hand for guests to enjoy.

What is Lunar Golf?

Forrest little golf course will be lit up with LED lights guiding guests down the fairways and onto greens. Golf balls will also be lit up!

What is the format of the event?

• This is a team event played over 9 holes (the course will be a reduced length).
• Alternate Scramble: Player A & B play from the tee. From the best drive, Player C & D play from that spot. Player A & B play the third shot from the best position and so on until the team holes out.
• Player C & D then play off the next tee.
• Teams will start across the course, each starting on a different hole.
• Registration at 6:30, Safety Breifing at 7:00pm with a shotgun start at 7:30pm, this will mean all teams will commence and finish play at the same time.
• Expected finish time is 9.30/10pm.

Ticket purchase

You do not have to purchase four tickets to form a team, you can purchase one,two or three tickets and we can put players into groups. If you do have four players, please purchase four tickets and provide the names of all four players during the buying process.

Note- *This event is weather permitting, a decision will be made in conjunction with Lunar Golf if conditions do not allow. We will strive to reschedule this event to a later date if required, full refunds will be available.

* * Lunar Golf require a minimum number of 62 players for this event to take place.

What's included with the ticket?

• Full Lunar Golf experience, on course at Forrest Little Golf Course, including: music, safety equipment for all attendees, & LED golf balls.
• Sole use of on course facilities for the duration of the event
• Attendee goodie bags
• Refreshments

What do I need to bring on the night?

• Comfortable shoes (gym/training shoes will work!)
• If your own or have access to a set of golf clubs, please bring them with you. We will divide the teams so that each group has a set of golf clubs.
• This event will take place over Autumn, please dress appropriately.
