The Art in the Loop Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization engaging artists in the on-going revitalization of Downtown Kansas City through the annual summer Art in the Loop Project, an outdoor exhibition of temporary and semi-permanent artworks and musical performances.

Kansas City Artists Coalition

The 2026 Art in the Loop Project: HOME call for visual &amp; performing artists is now available. Visual artists working in two or three dimensions, as well as social practice, are encouraged to apply. Performing artists working in dance, song or poetry, as well as social practice, are encouraged to apply.Please join us on February 7 at 11 a.m. for an in-person information session.Access the full call for artists and application at <a href="https://www.artintheloop.com" title="https://www.artintheloop.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.artintheloop.com</a>.The application requires a written description of your proposal and a short narrative about your goals for public engagement. Stipends will range from $750-$2,500 depending on the category. The deadline for submissions is February 16, 2026 at 11:59 pm CST.
